  1. I don't see this tile and I don't see any control that lets me customize the quick setting tiles. Am I missing something (Meaning me, not Lineage πŸ˜‰ )?
  2. You might try checking the security settings on your router. That seemed to work in the case in this thread, though not clear why.
  3. I have never ever seen this behavior with LOS and the default (AOSP) messaging app. There must be something somewhere on your setup doing this to you, but I have no idea what it is. It isn't default LOS.
  4. Here's a previous discussion of Launchers that might help (ignore the side-track into Windows UI that happened). I have settled in with Nova, which I have used for years, and really like it, but I don't use widgets. Total Launcher gives you the greatest control, creating separate layouts for portrait and Landscape, but I found it bewideringly complex. YMMV.
  5. Sorry, yes, I bungled the details. I'll blame being old. πŸ˜„
  6. What I suspect that means is that the SIM is not being recognized as being capable of VoLTE. Is this a new SIM you bought for the Pro1? It may be that with that carrier you have to do the mule trickβ€”use a phone they approve of, get the SIM provisioned for VoLTE and confirm it works on the mule phone, then transfer the SIM to the Pro1.
  7. I haven't kept track of all your posts so ignore this if you already did this. Did you check the phone menu (*#*#4636*#*#) and make sure the provisioning switches for VolTE are on and not grayed out?
  8. The snapdragon camera will only show the preview if the phone is unlocked. If you pull up the camera with the hardware button while the Pro1 is locked, it will not give you a preview. At least that's what I remember... it's been a while since I have been on stock.
  9. My AT&T SIM works fine set to LTE only, just to be clear. AT&T here gave me no trouble about the Pro1β€”in fact, they were quite excited when I pulled the phone out and clacked the keyboard. The AT&T store here seems to be filled with gear heads. πŸ˜„
  10. It is definitely dying. I suspect they won't make the deadline of the end of the year, but not a time to be dependent on CDMA on a BYOD phone. The question is, will they get LTE coverage out to rural areas still serviced by CDMA before making the transition?
  11. I guess, Yay, you got it working! πŸ˜„
  12. FinQwerty only works with stock, not with LOS.
  13. Yeah. That's my setup. I think it is probably default, and it is working.
  14. What security option are you using on your router? I'm assuming WPA@-PSK [AES]. I don't know what the Pro 1 does with the other options. Just grasping at straws. πŸ˜‰
  15. Just for data purposes, my Pro1 does fine on my Netgear router, connected to 5Ghz. My router is model number R6400 v2, one of the Nighthawk line. So it doesn't appear to be the brand of router.
  16. Just thought I'd resurrect my solution for all the newcomers. I hate cases and, going back to my Palm PDAs, have never used cases. However, the back of the Pro1 is pretty slick. So I put a black matte textured skin on and it gives it just enough grip that I never drop the phone in the first place (haha famous last words. πŸ˜„ ) The skin is very snug and months later shows no wear or coming loose at the edges. Perfect solution for me, YMMV.
  17. When mine went through the Memphis Hub it landed in Alaska first and I'm pretty sure it went through customs there and not Memphis. Memphis is the main routing super-hub for FedEx, but mine was there mere hours before getting to me in VA the next day. But that was December 2019, a whole different world. Hope it is just delayed due to processing/manning issues and not having trouble with customs.
  18. Oh, bloody hell. Forget it. Lol. I forgot to tell apply update I was sideloading. πŸ™„ πŸ˜„
  19. I did all that except reboot the computer. I'd rather not if possible. When I rebooted phone google play services kept stopping,
  20. Okay, this is interesting. I sideloaded the new nightly and rebooted into recovery, which switched the slot from a to b. Then I went to sideload suaddon (I always re-slash both SU and Gapps) and I got this: C:\ADB>adb sideload addonsu-16.0-arm64-signed.zip adb: sideload connection failed: device unauthorized. This adb server's $ADB_VENDOR_KEYS is not set Try 'adb kill-server' if that seems wrong. Otherwise check for a confirmation dialog on your device. adb: trying pre-KitKat sideload method... adb: pre-KitKat sideload connection failed: device unauthorized. This adb server's $AD
  21. For the record, I don't seem to have this problem on LOS either:
  22. Being able to do a Nandroid Backup (which is not so much a new reason as the result of having decrypt).
  23. Yeah, it's a mystery. If I had to guess, I'd guess there were plans for a search key and IdeaLTE worked it into the shortcuts, and then the key was abandoned and IdeaLTE never went back and cleaned things up. Either that or IdeaLTE just brought over shortcuts from another device and never cleaned them up. But, of course, I'm just guessing.
  24. I guess I just don't use many apps that force portrait, and for the ones that do I just use split screen. Works for me.
  25. Again, in my case, my right thumb reaches 7,T,F,V without stretching. My left thumb reaches 6,T,G,V without stretching. I remember trying out the first Droid way back when and saying, no, keys too small and close together for comfort. Maybe I've got bigger hands than most, but finally someone has accommodated me. πŸ˜‰ Also I hate screens that re less than 6". πŸ˜„
