Samsung is using its own Fast Charging technology which may not be compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. I can confirm that my Pro1 does not charge with Samsung charger (Fast Charging) but my Xperia XZ1 Compact (QC 3.0) does not charge either. Both work great with QC 3.0 charger and Sony "normal" charger. See more information from here. Quick charging technologys are not compatible very often and even the cable can an issue. Have you tried another charger and another cable? ...or maybe plugging Type-C connector in the other direction for testing purposes...

It is possible that the Lineage GPS configuration files are not optimal for certain areas. Me or one of the other devs can look into that.

July 6 and on july 24 they send mail stating that it will take next week to leave factory...it really feels like they think we are fools...or they are slapping themself by continued doing flase statement. Device booted. It's still NOT working. Confirmed it's working on the other device but when I put the sim in the pro1, the call just fails immediately if I have LTE only set. Update: It started working after I toggled all the settings under *#*4636#*#. YAY!

Yeah snapdragon camera has lots of issues. I watched a bit and was wondering if maybe it had to do with it seemed to sometimes keep trying to refocus. But yeah not much sound going on that I noticed. Lineagecamera is fine, yep. Another alternative for stock or Lineage is OpenCamera. It even recognizes our focus and shutter buttons. Although if you're trying to use the button with stock you'll need a 3rd party app to prevent the camera button from auto-launching snapdragon app, one of the many other problems with stock that were reported last year.....

Sound being borderline unhearable. I installed LineageOS and very briefly tried the camera: WOW WTF, it's miles ahead of the factory camera!

SatStat just confused the heck out of me. 😄 GPS Test showed a quick first fix time (00:05 the first time, 00:08 the second) with about 9-11 sats in use out of 18 in view. Most are yellow and orange, occasionally turning green briefly. On the Average SNR slider, floating around 18. I take all this to mean connection is quick but signal is not strong? I'm past my pay grade here, lol. Sorry, I'm not all that technical so it is hard for me to help.

There are several GPS test apps in the Play Store. I use "GPS Test" by Chartcross Limited. No reason for that particular one, really, except it's the first one I found years ago when I first started developing for Android. Another one I always have installed is "Sensor Box for Android".

I would assume someone with a Pro1 would have to port it. There's certainly not been any talk of that that I've seen anywhere.

In the very very beginning pre-orders where cheaper actually, was around 650€ I think (which personally helped me a lot because my native currency sucks big time). But I never saw the promised earbuds turn up to this day xD (got the pouch tho). Anyway, it was the type I dislike so I decided not to chase it. I am using classic Soundmagic ones and they sound great.

Yes, you would run from the adb root shell. You stop services exactly as I said, with "stop". It is assumed that you would be running Android (which is the only place where you have both an adb shell and unencrypted data). I haven't really tried this, so if your data is important, it may be wise to boot into recovery and save off a "dd" copy of the userdata partition just in case it doesn't work. That sounds great. Am having some bluetooth issues as well as experiencing the phone being sluggish overall. So was thinking other OS's might adress these issues. As well as being better options in the long run, with a bit more dedicated developers? Anyhow, looks like it'll be Lineage OS for me. Thanks a lot.

I don't use anything that requires safetynet on Lineage, which apparently includes my banking app. I am rooted and I don't bother hiding it.

Many things don´t work for me here: The color code you provide gives following result (dark to bright): grey - greenish - purple - light purple. Not really the result I am looking for, I´d prefer a setting that applies for a specific brightness range. The shortcut don´t work for me at all - none of them. I just dont care...how much patience and understanding have to keep, i have doing this from last year..every time they have new excuse for delay. They must keep track of their contact...it is not customer responsibility..are they going to give anything extra. Or any discount to pre-orders for their support..nothing right.
