  1. Previously (at the least) your protection was practically non-existing (except from the credit card company) for sellers with a reputation less than 100. I'm not aware that should have changed, but might be wrong.
  2. It is standard newer Android, but actually you can do a VERY long swipe up to get to the app drawer (But that is even more inconvenient than a double swipe). I have suggested them to add an icon we could choose to put where we like for the app drawer, as the simplest solution.
  3. HFR 120, normal speed and 0.25x OpenCamera https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/share/GboU8LZM8oI32NfVcOvvloqDIrfa2jxWQ6tvSqqpR0W So the 0.25x really just means recording as 120fps and saving as 120fps / 4 = 30fps.... 😥 (And that should be the difference between 120 HFR and 120 HSR in qualcomm's app too)
  4. as posted elsewhere, you should be aware that you through adb can disable or logically uninstall individual apps including the GApps. see e.g. this
  5. If it is not Android as such but ´merely´ the GApps that annoys you, then you might not be aware that you trough ADB can disable or logically uninstall them. see e.g. this.
  6. (there already are a few user reviews in here, and I bet more will come)
  7. I think you better contact support on that. This is primarily user-to-user. (And i for one have no idea)
  8. Yes I both got a "Pre production" prototype (with not all antennas and stuff), A "Final sample" (fully functional), And a regular IGG backer pre-order for a qwertZ variant.
  9. Yeah, but I can not find the 0.25 speed in the Qualcomm app - It could still be there though, me looking in the wrong places....
  10. PS on Nova. Oddly in Nova some widgets are ignored navigating with arrows & Tab (Works fine with the build in launcher)
  11. It is hard to place a sticker anywhere on this device, where it is easily readable (I think that is a US FCC requirement), and yet not easily readable by others. Actually the support plate is the most easy place for others to read from when you use the device in public - unless you put your fingers there of course. Users outside the US you just remove (and keep) the sticker - I have done that. You can see the IMEIs from the device itself. The serial number you see from the device is an 8 hexdigits number, that does not easily translate.
  12. I can not find any slow motion there, but I can find "HFR 120" and "HSR 120", both for FHD (and not for UHD)
  13. Well did not try to use it, just made the image for fun. but sure it would be possible. But I think it would be better to use re-usable strips (strips that can be opened), so you can get it as firm as possible without stopping the blood circulation too much. And then thread them through some stiff piece of plastic, to secure the distance, so they can not slip over the ends.
  14. It is some sort of steel so the string will almost certainly go first... But still not a good idea with a strap at all, as posted earlier
  15. ...On second thoughts, it might not be that easy to have it working well, as it swinging might open the device... Better go for a flip case that has the strap.
  16. That is easy. Just move silently... 😜😜
  17. A reduced, and crop from full 4:3 macro, Open Camera
  18. I have not experimented that much, but at least 1920x1080@120 x 1/4 is possible using Open Camera, that is 480fp FHD 120fps FHD saved as 120/4=30fps
  19. Yup as a collectors item it will for sure have a higher value than the retail selling price you have put it up for, merely because of the serial number. So you should consider the auction before someone is actually bidding on it, making it harder to cancel...
  20. Yeah, It could be a good idea, for those that wants that.
  21. There is a thin line between scamming an conning.... Here we are talking conning people as you trick them to believe it is a good deal. BUT for some with a very strained economy, that perhaps would have had issues lending the money in say a bank, this way MIGHT be a reasonable soluton.
  22. Well the Moto Mod was rather special as there never was a real first shipment. Just the prototypes distributed to a few. But sure it could be real, the serial number is what makes it look most fishy to me.... But Sure could be Adrian or Chen selling their own - but does that sound likely??
  23. I doubt it, not even the "Final Sample" had a label with a serial number - nor a retail box with the same IMEI. (My retail unit has)
  24. Personally I would never bid on nor buy from an ebay seller with a reputation of just 6 (!) - and even those are as buyer only, and many months old. Your are not even covered by their buyers protection. And the very low serial number 000002 must be a staff item, that seems very odd to go on sale so quickly, so it all has a suspicious smell to it....
