I can't say if it is a bug or not, but in case anyone else encounters it, I will list it here so they don't spend too much time on it. I formatted my SD card in my computer for FAT32, using a special program that optimizes for speed. The default Windows format will format for exFAT, since that is the proper file system for cards above 32 GB in size. That won't work on the Pro1 yet, due to Microsoft licensing. You can also format the card in the Pro1. After I put the SD card and SIM in the phone, I went through the setup process on the phone. I then found that the SD card was not

It does that for me too. It doesn't fit the shape of the phone perfectly there, I believe. I'm hoping that calms down after some time. Of course, being on the edge isn't as bad as being in the middle, since the edge distorts the display anyway and reflections on the edge also kind of mix with the bubbles.

Do you think that it is using the 5 MP sensor to take better pictures than the Camera PX without using the depth sensor?

@EskeRahn, is that the only location where you have the felt? For some reason, I thought you had the felt where the back of the screen slams into the keyboard when it is opened. I just now looked at mine and saw that there are rubber bumpers. You may have mentioned them in the past, in your reviews, but I just forgot or didn't notice. Or does your phone not have the bumpers? As it pertains to @altwouss's problem, my screen sits firmly on the rubber bumpers when the screen is open. Maybe something is just slightly out of alignment or bent or some part (the hinged arms) is longer or sh

I saw the top numbers were different, but I just assumed that was the serial number. Are you sure it isn't the reflection of the hand and camera of the person taking the picture that you are seeing? When I looked at it further away at first, I thought it was bulged too, but then I zoomed in. I thought maybe the foil differences were just the light hitting them differently. They seem to have the same shapes under them. And like you said, the foil could have just been pressed differently, even if what is under them is identical.

That's it for tonight. I'll probably play with it a bit now. I haven't even gone through the setup yet. More updates tomorrow.

Sorry about that. I fixed the link and added a screenshot of the ad. It turned out well, thank you. I think that might only be the second protector I've ever put on. I've always had them put on at the store where I've got them for other phones (Zagg InvisibleShield). Here was my process: 1) I took the phone and all the stuff I needed into the bathroom. I ran the shower on hot for a while to get the bathroom steamed up to knock all the dust out of the air. 2) I did have a silky bag that you get when you buy the InvisibleShield protectors. This is what they use to w

I have 4 cases I bought for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and 1 case I bought for the Huawei P20 Pro. My favorite case is a Pelican case I got off ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/163456233953 That is a nice, strong, protective case. It fits snug, with the gray, softer part even going up past the edge of the bottom part of the phone. The only problem with it is that it is very sturdy and I'm going to need some time to melt or cut holes in it with a dremel tool or something. I may even elect to use it upside down, because it has a lot of holes punched out on the bottom and tha

I used a plastic tool to pull the SIM tray out carefully. That certainly is a non-robust system. For others, I recommend being careful not to press down too hard on the black plastic part of the tray while pulling it out. I populated it with my 128 GB SD card that has been formatted with a special Windows application for FAT32. My provide is T-Mobile and this is a brand new, non-activated SIM. The SD card: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-UHS-I-128GB-Adapter/dp/B07G3H5RBT The Windows application: http://rmprepusb.blogspot.com/2014/06/increase-speed-of-your-sd-card-or-

I got the screen protector on. It is this one: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32851277108.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.4f985ce9FE9iFW I ordered 5 of those, which means 10 protectors, plus the squeegees, wipes and stickers they each come with. Here is the before picture: And several after pictures: Right side. The protector comes down very close to the edge of the screen. Left side There is a slightly bigger gap on this side. And this is not because I put the screen protector on shifted. It is lined up with respect to the front facing

This topic will document me setting up my Pro1, including first impressions along the way. My to do list is as follows: Putting on a screen protector Putting the SD card and non-activated SIM into it Putting a case on it (I have a handful to try) Trying out my belt holster case Booting it up and messing around with it a little bit (includes setting google play to not auto-install my apps) Unlocking the bootloader Installing TWRP Rooting it with Magisk Installing Titanium Backup so I can take backups at various states Removing enc

I haven't played with my phone much yet, but between lifting at the top, pushing down and then up at the bottom, or lifting at the bottom, I find that lifting at the bottom is easiest. It does fly like a dolphin out of the water in more ways than one! (not just the down+up, but also fast and with power!)

What is different between those 3? I didn't spend too long looking, but I didn't spot it. And agreed about not knowing if it was the installation or the screen itself, but there is something about the variables involved that did result in issues with lines.

Can you send screenshots of the APN screen (or multiple if it is long and scrolls)?
-
Are you sending to someone else on T-Mobile? Maybe try multiple people to see if it is some oddity with the from/to provider. There are also settings for MMS in a lot of texting apps, so maybe there is a setting that needs to be messed with. I won't be able to test mine for texting until sometime in the next week, most likely, since I only have an non-activated SIM of the right size for the Pro1 and need to leave my other bigger SIM active in my old phone until I make the final leap to using the Pro1 fully.

And if your router has 2 radios for 5GHz, try the other one to see if it makes a difference. They will usually be at different ends of the 5 GHz bands.

Sending and receiving what? Text messages? Instant messages?

There have been some people who have purchased replacement screens for the Elephone U/U Pro (which is the same screen the Pro1 uses) from chinese suppliers and had issues with green lines (or other colored lines in some cases). It didn't look exactly like your situation, but is related, so I'm posting for added info.

Memory Cards. Recommendations and Suggestions.

You can't format for FAT32 with the Windows format utility for cards over 32 GB in size. I could have let the phone do the formatting, but I opted to use a special program that optimizes for speed. The end results with this particular benchmark didn't change a lot. I got a little faster speeds, when I increased how much it was set to read/write per test case. I also got a little faster speeds on exFAT on another laptop (with that laptop running Windows 10 and my normal laptop still on Windows 7). So either due to operating system or drivers or the controller itself, there can be a li -

If you have gestures enabled, pulling up from the top/middle of the app scrolling screen, rather than the bottom of the screen, may help.
