    I agree with you that the bug is a software issue, but in my case, there was an interaction and there was indeed a problem with the charging brick. If I connect the Pro1x to it's original brick, it now slowly (very slowly) loses percentage and the lightning bolt on the battery goes away. This does not happen when it is connected to the other brick I have. It's totally reliable to reproduce. Talk about a double whammy. The week was so hectic that I actually didn't pick the phone up for 48 hours and that's how it drained.

    I had just posted a "I give up on this" post as endless hours on rubber bands seemed to not be producing results. But then, just to spite me, lol, it booted. It was about 22%, I plugged it in and it began losing % again. So I quickly swapped in a fast chard 20000mAh Anker external batter and for the first time got the rapid charging message and it is up to 30%. I think this may be a problem with the Pro1x's charging brick. Which would explain how it got drained while attached to the charging brick (I tried different cables, so I think it's the brick). More when it gets fully charged

    So, this is strange. Somehow, even though it was actually connected to power, charging overnight, when I went to check my Pro1x yesterday, it was completely drained of power. Which is weird... even if the magnetic cable had come loose, I can't see it draining over night. I was busy yesterday, so I didn't discover it until the end of the day (yes, I actually have days where I don't use my Pro1x, but remember, although it actually seems okay at making calls, I use a Pixel for calls and point and shoot camera and my Pro1x for everything else).     That one claims to be the Elephone U frame, which, if true and probably is, the frame won't work on the Pro1. There is one that claimed to have the frame for the Pro1 and I ordered one (it's in my closet-- luckily I haven't yet had a need for it). Unfortunately, they are out of the frame.     For the Pro1 it's pretty easy. Just Fastboot flash stock. You don't have to set up stock, Just flash it and sign in. I'm pretty sure the version of stock you download, from August 2020 was the latest update so it should have the patch. You may not even have to sign in, but I have always done that to be sure it was a proper install. Then reflash Lineage. And, yes, it means you have to re-setup Lineage-- there is no way to patch Lineage properly. The patch is built into stock. Annoying amount of work because no proper backup. Lineage is supposed to have seedvault, but I have no experience

    As with the post I made above, people are not going to be able to help you unless you provide details. Do you have a Pro 1, which is what this thread is for, or do you have a Pro1x, for which this is the wrong procedure? What OS was on your phone before you began? What are you trying to do and what are the exact steps you have tried. What are you trying to accomplish.

    We probably need more information. First, this is for the Pro 1, not the Pro1x. Since this is your first post and you provide no information, just wanted to make sure you understood that, The instructions for the Pro1x is here: Second, if you are asking about flashing Stock Android, I am left to assume you are on another OS such as Lineage. In which case, your bootloader is already unlocked as bad things happen if the bootloader is locked on another OS.

    Will be 5 years for me December 10th. My Pro1x is actually my daily driver... I like the keyboard better—as a writer, the key mapping for punctuation is better, and I don't do anything that challenges the weaker SOC. But I love my Pro 1 and use it for experiments. Right now experimenting with Google Free Lineage. Both work ok as phones, but I don't use either that way. I have a Pixel 7 Pro which is my phone and point and shoot camera and has all my sensitive bank type stuff. Everything else is on my rooted Pro1x, which means I am using my Pro1x 95% of the time.     I don't know if it has any answers, but you might look at some of the discussions in this thread: It is mostly a discussion about the Pro1, but towards the end of the thread there is also discussion of the Pro1x. It may not resolve anything, but will give you an idea of what has been tried and with what degree of success.

    It might help if you gave more information on where you are at and what you need help with. For instance, have you looked at and tried to follow the instructions here? https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/pro1x/install/ They are actually pretty clear instructions. If you don't understand or are uncomfortable with the instructions, chances are you shouldn't do it. Take your time to read everything carefully and then maybe ask specific questions on what you don't understand.

    I wish I were that person or anyone actually qualified to help (I'm strictly a lineage guy), but I do reasonably believe that using the QFIL method of reflashing stock Android 11 should work as it is capable of working even with bricked Pro1xs (in theory-- I have never done it.) I know it worked recently with someone who mistakenly flashed stock Android 9 for the SD 835 Pro1 on a Pro1x resulting in not being able to even boot.     Are you in the US and are you on Verizon? I ask because this was the problem I had when I used to try to have my Pro 1 on Verizon. It would work fine and then some aspect of the SMS would fail. Then it would come back without my being able to explain how and then, after a while it would break again. I gave up and put my Pro 1 on T-Mobile. Have never had SMS fail. This was back a couple of years before Verizon became so aggressive about whitelisting.

    From what little I saw just now doing a quick scan of different sources, Apostophie OS's approach seems to be to team with hadrdware manufactures to have it the default OS in new devices. They don't seem to be opening it up to devs for previously manufactured phones. Again, it was a very quick scan, so maybe I'm wrong.
