  1. Ya know.......I am tempted too! LOL! It might just be the cure for the Treo 700p cravings I get occasionally..... EDIT: Although, the keyboard on my 700p had the ALT key in the correct place, and someone really should tell them that they misspelled "Discription" LOL
  2. Generally someone does so pretty quickly (usually @EskeRahn, hero that he is.) You're the type of person who would ask the same question of the treasure fleet bringing you wealth untold because it took longer than planned. SMH
  3. Hey, if Veri$on employees start using the clack, maybe it will get supported officially! Well, I can dream LOL. But another clack sold is another brick in the future of clacks! Yay!
  4. So the million dollar question then becomes what exactly is it that the stock ROM supports that the LOS ROMs universally ignore that causes this behavior? Obviously workarounds exist, but full functionality is better. Perhaps @tdm can comment on this, but honestly this sounds like a low-priority question, let alone project. If the entire LOS community so far has ignored this aspect of the devices, there's either a licensing issue, driver issue, or apathy issue, which is of course possible since most major networks aren't forcing the issue on VoLTE yet, so it's a whatever. However it is, I imag
  5. @tdm is making so much progress on this that it looks like I'll be going straight to LOS when my clack arrives. My only concern is the VoLTE switches being grayed, so needing stock to switch them on. Veri$on, ya know.....
  6. Because he loaved me. I couldn't just leave such sweet loave just because he didn't match the others in the set. He's a gentleman and a sweetheart. :)
  7. AWWWWW. The look of loave. She loaves you very much. What a sweetheart. I'm glad you have her. She is glad you have her. :)
  8. @sequestris I want your cat. :P I have two black cats already, and my orange one looks out of place. Trade? HAHA
  9. Sell the keyboardless one when your AMAZING phone arrives. There will always be plenty of suckers for phones without keyboards, while you can be part of the people who know better. :)
  10. It's silly to ask for a refund at this point. Have a nudge more patience and you'll have the device. You ordered it because you'd like to have it, right?
  11. That's why we all need to buy three apiece and get our friends to also buy three apiece. :) I have to say, @sequestris got 7 more people to order the thing. If each of us did that, well, the future is bright for clacks. :)

    Keyboard

Umm, NO. It would be very stupid of F(x)tec to knowingly change the default behavior to something that will act weirdly for a lot of users. It's better to have it work in the usual, if boring, way out of the box, and then let someone else design the unusually-behaving program and deal with trying to support the issues. Keep in mind that this is not meant as a UMPC, so PC-style keyboard shortcuts are not going to be expected by most users. On top of that, even on desktop operating systems most people don't use keyboard shortcuts to launch programs; they click something. The use case here i
  13. @Anssi Hannula is a wonderful person and a very good developer. I wouldn't be surprised if your changes end up getting un-forked and put in the main tree. FinQwerty has changed from a small project to support Finnish entry to a big deal to fix every possible keyboard issue for every user in the world, and it's rapidly doing it. I tell ya.....if the whole world were Finland, the world would be a kinder, smarter place!
  14. [Jeopardy thinking music plays] 😉
  15. Agreeing with most of that in principle, except that serial 1009 has been reported in the wild. 🙂
  16. Sgroogle quickly realized that doing so was counterproductive to their consumer-as-the-product business model, where stealing your data is the name of the game, and the vanilla program went away in favor of the GspyMail version. My original Droid has it. I have it as a novelty alarm clock at this point, but it's occasionally a useful reminder of what Android was in 2008/9.
  17. That's a matter of definition. if the letters on the keys have to match what they type, that could be awhile, if ever. In the meantime, check out the fine work of @Anssi Hannula on FinQwerty. It makes almost anything possible. :)
  18. Get it exactly the way you like it, then switch to it daily. :)
  19. Highest in the wild is now 1009. I have no idea what, if anything, that means to your math. :)
  20. Too cold gave me a great laugh though. Thanks @Parhelion
  21. I'd be very interested to know why you hate magisk. Also, I want my device unencrypted. I am much more worried about being able to recover my stuff if things go badly than I am someone else getting it.
  22. Aside from the fact that we're likely to have no sympathy for the devyl by the time this is done, (or maybe we will, if it proves difficult) why wouldn't you want to hash out the whole process here so we can learn from it?
  23. Rolling cheese and launching chairs both have the advantage over pumpkins of launching objects which are readily available year-round. Whole pumpkins are hard to find 10 months of the year. LOL! We should organize some Pro1 "Cheese and Chair Chucking" competitions. :P
  24. @david Now I understand why you are considering such things LOL. I use basically none of the things you describe which create large volumes of data. The 4K thing is interesting to me. My dashcam is 4K, and with variable bitrate and HEVC it runs 200-280MB a minute. However, I see no advantage to 4K video generally. I have the resolution on the dashcam at 4K because if a situation arises where I need the video for legal evidence, which is why I have it, I might be grateful for extremely clear, detailed, and enlargeable video. For social video, I see no advantage at all. On the few occa
