I did. He is happy. :)

I thought the last one was the funniest of them all. Ah well. :P

We are gathered here to ensure that photos OF the Pro1, BY the Pro1, and FOR the Pro1 shall not perish from the earth. --Clackraham Lincoln

We'll discover this soon enough I think. Those of you who are receiving these devices now care to comment?

128GB? I'm lucky if I transfer that in a year! Someone carries a lot of stuff!

Strange request.....

I really should read this thread more slowly. For a brief moment I was trying to figure out if launching lawnchairs was a traditional cultural activity or a new sport of bored rednecks. At some point one does grow bored with launching pumpkins, after all.....LOL!

Termux ignores the keyboard layouts generally, as it has its own. This allows you to make a custom layout for termux, but sometimes requires making a custom layout for it to work correctly. Win some, lose some....

I'd be good with just disabling the fingerprint reader permanently. :O OK, I'll go back to the nursing home now......

PLEASE take the potatoes? TAKE THE POTATOES OFF ME!!!!! For the record, he really didn't care that much. He was napping peacefully, and my wife thought it would be funny to park a potato next to him. I dunno....same shape or something.....anyway, that became 3 potatoes next to him, then a wall of potatoes in front of him, then most of 10 pounds (4 kilos) of potatoes piled all over him. He was still asleep for most of it, and when he did awaken, he stayed for a long time. He eventually got tired of being the "spud" of jokes and left to do something else. :O Tom is an

Yeah, I wanted to reach through the screen and remove his teeth when he said he broke it and returned it. If you'll forgive me for saying so though, I'm glad that it was returned to you, and not someone else, as you will undoubtedly be able to make it usable again. Personally I can't be any help, but there are experts here who can. Together you will solve this. Of course, the poor phone will be traumatized....it went from the devyl to an evil dragon.....maybe it's just possessed now......

Tom wishes you a potato. In fact, Tom wishes you would take all the potatoes.

Bleach turns almost everything it touches to loose molecules, given the chance. Microbes, skin, towels, hot tubs, everything. It will destroy its own plastic jug if you let it sit in it long enough. I think the only household thing that doesn't react with it at all is glass. That's why I so rarely use it, but I don't deny it has its uses. Destroying undesirable microbes is a very good application. :) However, your observation about 2 day shelf life is very comforting. It is an interesting coincidence that some of the viruses most dangerous to living organisms have very short lifespans out

I wish you all the margin in the world. I hope your volume ends up scaling to where you make 300 shekels a device. This is a project that should be rewarding. It took courage, foresight, planning, and determination. After all, if this one makes money, you'll do it again. :)

I have toyed with grabbing a QWERTZ version (in the US; I don't see why they wouldn't ship it there, maybe after asking if I made a mistake when ordering LOL) to avoid the shifted layout, BUT then people started getting the shifted QWERTY and saying that it works well, so I decided to just see if I like it after a few weeks. If I don't, I'm sure I can sell my QWERTY clack fairly easily.

Maybe they're afraid his "UK version" will have a British accent when they get it. 😲

I wouldn't consider anything BlackBerry a suitable replacement for the clack, but to each their own. I find the extremely abbreviated and rather tiny keyboards on BB devices very frustrating. I can use them, but prefer my Droid 4 keyboard, which is similar to the Pro1. Moreover I despise working in portrait, so my PRIV mostly sits, in spite of being faster and having a nicer screen. For me, the keyboard is where it's at. To each their own. I'm sure someone will happily relieve you of your clack.

She may have been bumped ahead because they were looking at the date her account was created, not the date the order was placed, which made her look like an older order because they didn't realize that she had already gotten one and this was a second one. Just a theory. She received her first one very early in shipping, so may have been one of the very first to order....the first time. At any rate I don't imagine there's any dishonesty here, but perhaps a touch of being disorganized LOL

You and me both. I guess waiting longer for Christmas will make it more exciting when it comes. :P

Hence why my Droid 4 (using it now) gets 10x the use that my PRIV gets. :) Well, that and the Droid has the keyboard the correct direction. :P

I ditched FireFox as soon as I discovered Brave for Android. I rarely use FireFox on Desktop, never on mobile. When I used it last, I remember thinking it was a bit of a memory pig......of course, I was running it on a device (Droid OG) with 256MB RAM running LineageOS with SD swap in 2015, so my experience may not have been typical in that regard. :P That said, memory leaks in browsers are nothing new. Chrome desktop used to have one that made it all but useless after a few minutes if you had marginal amounts of RAM. I haven't used it lately to know if that's been corrected.

I know of at least 5 people in the US who already received clacks. There simply haven't been many shipped......until now. :)

That seems unlikely. Did you mean tracking number? It's possible that Fedux is paranoid about US laws regarding emailing people without their express consent.
