When my usage is limited to browsing and IM, I get a day's use easily. But some apps just burn through the juice. That being said, comparing the latest CPU optimizations with a 4500mAh battery (P30) to our three year old architecture with a 3200mAh battery is hardly fair. Sure, by now I've had faster slicker phones in my hands. Wouldn't trade them for my Pro1 though. Only wish it would take better pictures. That's it. I contacted them about my screen not working. Explained what I had done to get it working again. Answered NO to the question if there was any water damage.. Then they asked me if I was willing to replace the screen myself, Hell yeah! So I had to wait a couple of weeks for the screen to be sent due to COVID-19. That was all settled within a week, except for receiving the screen. That took 3/4 weeks more or less.

Yeah, sorry, did not mean it was due to the OTA. But because of the OTA I had te reboot, which meant no more FP 🙃

Just received an OTA April 5th 202000620-2238. Installed it, reboot, no more working fingerprints again pfffff. Guess I'll have to root to fix this annoying bug.

I recall performing multiple hard resets and going without any special apps, with special I mean niche apps and for example ports. Also I'm pretty sure my stock-provider-provided-router made my Pro11 reboot when 2.4GHz WiFi strength was low. Replaced it with another Unifi and gave 5GHz priority.

I have to say, mine was also unstable the first week. But after that, no more reboots. I do recall having had reboot issues in combination with 2.4GHz WiFi. Nonetheless, giving up on a phone after 1 hour as you've been waiting for delivery several 100000 hours 🥴

I forgot to mention that after my reset a couple of months back, my fingerprints are gone after a reboot. After every reboot I have to re-register my fingerprints. Anyone any ideas how to resolve this without another hard-reset?

My apologies for the late response 🙄. Still waiting for my replacement screen. And I see you've figured out that it is a hardware issue. Keep us updated please. I'm curious to find out what it was and if/how it's been resolved.

So why not switch to 3G based on location. I'm sure there's an app for that 🙂 . Used in my previous house, bad reception on 4G (any phone).

My camera also stopped working. I had problems from the get-go. After I installed multiple camera apps y problems got worse. I was unable to take pictures from within a Hangouts conversation. A couple of months later my camera stopped working at all. I started the camera app and it closed right away. I also had issues with rebooting. But if I recall correctly this was only on 2.4GHz. So I stopped using 2.4GHz. Unable to test now, still awaiting my replacement screen. But, I am 100% sure I never had a reboot after switching to 5GHz networks at home. Also, pretty sure I never had a reboot on 2.4GHz in combination with my Unifi AP's. Just with the router my ISP provided.

Hmm. So they pushed out a batch of Qwertz after Corona. That batch was probably (my assumption), made with parts that were already available at the factory. But could not be assembled due to Corona. I know, they were waiting for a shipment. But also those parts must have been laying around in another factory. That was what, three weeks ago more or less? If it's delivered earlier, no one's gonna care about MediaTek 🤗. I owned Unihertz Jelly Pro and Atom. No complaints from me on performance. Sure, OS-support should be tricky. But, it could very well take a bite out of FxTec's share in this niche market. Keyboard looks very Psion, which I personally loved. And isn't this their third iteration? So time-to-market could be short. Nonetheless... I will keep on supporting FxTec. When can I pre-order the Pro2? 🤣

Thanks! Now the question becomes do I order the screen to save time, seeing I'm still waiting for three phones. I contacted FxTec support prior to my post, so now I wait. I could easily take it apart, but waiting for support. Don't want to void warranty if I can count on that. Another one bites the dust... So my Pro1 just died on me. Well, the OLED-screen died on me. I was just minding my business browsing the interweb when the screen died on me.
