  1. No, I hadn't thought of that. I'll do it next time, for the good of mankind our community!
  2. This also happened to me right now, so it's the forth time I experienced this since I installed LineageOS, about 10 days ago. This only proof that the phone is not completely dead is that the keyboard stay lit. Despite several attempts, I was not able to restart the phone with the above mentioned trick. For me, the bug always kick in when I pick up the phone: it's freezes, the screen turns off, there is no more sound, vibration or led. Apart from this, I did not have the wifi bug anymore since I installed LineageOS.
  3. I'm not sure if it's related as my phone was finally switch off (when connected to the computer, the content did not show up) but I will try this next time.
  4. tdm has the answer: I had this once and that did the trick.
  5. Finally, I decided to install LineageOS and I'm now able to run the appropriate commands. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the bug! So its seems Stock and LineageOS behave differently regarding wifi. I had something similar since I installed LineageOS end of last week : for the second time this week, the screen remains black when I arrived at work. The led blinked as I had received a message, that’s why I know the phone was on. The phone was cold, so it had not over heated. Several short presses on the power button or masking the proximity sensor had no effect. The led finally
  6. For doing so, I decided to root the device, this seemed easier and quicker to do than installing LineageOS. I followed the appropriate thread in the forum but I was not able to achieve this until I understand my bootloader was locked. So I unlocked it but I was not aware that the phone would perform a fresh install ... now, I know! I installed Magisk, I set Super User access for apps and adb. I hide / unhide Magisk to see if one is working. I tried some apps which need root and they are working well. But I still have : root@Jordi-Dell:/home/jordi# sudo adb
  7. I can reproduce this quite easily at home, in a room where I have poor wifi signal. Unfortunately, my router is not configurable directly, I have to go to the internet site of my provider and there is just a few parameters I can modify.
  8. Where is tdm when we need him? 🤪
  9. Based on some models and ideas presented in this thread, I made a new leather flip case for this phone. Each side is reinforced with thin plate of fiberglass. The phone is tied to the cover with 2 pieces of rubber. There is 4 small magnets to keep the cover properly closed.
  10. Would it be possible to use the proximity sensor instead of the magnetic one? I made a flip case and I would like to avoid to insert a magnet.
  11. I saw both situation on stock OS, reboots in idle or while using the phone.
  12. I didn't know about AOKP. After reading some information on the net, it's clear that I'll be installing this on my device, as soon as it is available. Glad there is another milestone after LineageOS.
  13. With the first device I get, I had quite a few reboots at home when playing youtube videos through wifi. The reboots appeared when doing additional things like pressing volume up or down, etc. They sent me a second device which is far better in this regard but some reboots still appear from time to time, at home (during the night, phone idle).
  14. This. I put 3 SD cards of different size and manufacturer and none of them were recognized. Then I rebooted the device when one was inserted.
  15. Geneva, Switzerland, here. Will install LineageOS soon + root it.
  16. I made a leather pouch for the Pro1. I used cow leather, thickness about 2 mm. All the parts are glued with super glue gel adhesive which remains flexible. I made some holes to see the led and to get stereo sound! There is no flap for closing, just a gap that opens to let the device in and out. see pictures for the details. If you want to try something similar, make sure that the inner part is about 1 mm wider than the phone to ensure it’s easy to slide it out.
  17. I bought a magnetic connector and this one also is protruding a lot, this seems a constant of all these devices. Not very convenient but it's easier to remove. Nevertheless, I will try to reduce the length of my connector by several tenth of mm.
  18. I made a Swiss - French keyboard that I sent to Anssi Hannula (along with money beer). This could also benefit others as I tried to be as standard as possible, there are a lot of special characters not often used but I put them anyway as they are in the Swiss - French layout.
  19. I just tried Light Manager and it's working. There is advertisements but hopefully only when the app is open, i.e. during the set up. Let's see if it doesn't consume too much battery. Edit: it's called Light manager 2 Edit 2 : I just tried setting different colors for different apps.
  20. I had the same problem with the first device I received, the phone crashed under load, for example when I rotated it while watching a youtube video, etc. I complained to Chen who sent me another unit. I sent back the first one and the team is investigating. Other people have a similar issue, see here I hope that this problem is not too widespread and that it can be solved via software.
  21. Mine does the same thing, maybe a little bit less than yours, difficult to say. I would say there is nothing to worry about, a little play is normal to prevent the mechanism from jamming or the parts from rubbing against each other.
  22. Chen is aware of the problem, the team is investigating.
