Hmm guessing here. The 152 could well be that the phone was almost finished before the Corona mess, and then only got the final parts later, e.g. the keyboard (assuming that stuff are charged and tested before being finalised, to catch bad parts as soon as possible in the assembly) On the 16GB try a factory reset - yes sounds silly, but after initial flashing it used to display way too low until a factory reset. Obviously you ought not to need doing that on a freshly delivered device though - so rather odd. And no haptic feedback on the camera-button to my knowledge

I tried to change my WiFi from "WPA/WPA2-PSK" to "WPA2-PSK" on my HuaWei B525s-23a. And both a Pro1 on Stock and LineageOS connects to it just fine. Could you give the model number of the netgear router, maybe that can help chasing down the bug. 🙂

(Well it "works" as such for qwertZ too, but have some quirks, as it is made for Stock Android)

Oh it sure would be better than a modified P20Pro case.

I would try fiddling with the router settings, and see if the Pro1 is more happy with something else, E.g. what channel it is using. I once had a problem with an internet radio, that did not connect, and it proved to be a character that I could select, but did not work in passwords with that device... (It was something ordinary like ! or $ forgot what it was). So many small quirks with WiFi.

Actually they DID plan a shell, and even had prototypes shown in here. But the result was not exactly good looking, And let us be honest. None of the DIY designs could give a slick result, even if made for a perfect fit. They all look more or less bad, and certainly in no ways as slick as the Pro1 by it self. Sure some of the flip cases looks OK closed, but that is hiding the phone, not a slick result while using the phone.

I'm not sure if it is my memory failing me or something has changed with the 20200803 version. When I dial *#*#INFO#*#* in stock I can choose either "Phone1 information" or "Phone2 Information". And I remember it as the same on Lineage, but now I only see "Phone information" Is it my memory that fails me, or an accidental change?

I have NOT had fingerprint issues on Lineage since a much earlier test-version. I have the sort of 'opposite' phenomena on Stock: Sometimes it forgets the fingerprints, but a restart and enter of the password and they are back. (this was improved with the July update).

Fiddling with the odd opening the first times I recommend a comfy chair or a sofa. So even if it should pop out of your hands, it should be safe.

For those that disables the edge-sensitivity anyway, this case-combo might be an interesting alternative, that is super easy to open:

Old farts like me that had a Nokia N97mini many years ago, opened it immediately. BUT I remember having trouble back then too. The problem is that we intuitively want to do an even horizontal push, like a simple slider. But that wont work, It has to be a down and up arc. Or just lift the back edge. Either alone or in combination. I most often lift the back with the index finger after triggering the fingerprint, while the thumb grabs the front of the screen. Like this

It is indeed tricky and not intuitive to open we got a whole thread on that with some hints, It is NOT a matter of force, but direction.

If I do not remember wrong, this has been reported before, with some routers. So yes most likely it will work with other access points of a different brand. So some kind of odd software bug in th phone. So a new specimen is unlikely to help, we can only hope they fix it soon, and until then try if changing e.g. To 2.4 or using different channels might make the Pro1 behave better. Obviously changing to (or adding) a different brand router might also solve it.

The FinQWERTY layouts are made for Stock. They will work somewhat on LOS too, but with some minor quirks. E.g some of the added stuff like half and Mu will not work (or at the least I has not guessed how to...)

It does sound a bit low, but not far off. The original box I had with the phone is 600g, but that came in an outer cardboard box, that will add a bit.

Careful with that. Some in here had locked it and could not unlock without help. Only re-lock if you are sure that it is the official stuff that is running, and it might not be after the failed attempts.

It was added as a character to official German rather recently (June 2017), for the case of writing an existing text in all caps (as an example the Corbusier WP theme I use for my blog has this odd behaviour for some headers). I guess It is not that likely to actually type it though. But that is now possible.

I tested earlier today, and seem to have it too - honestly I never tried to take outdoor photos with it on Lineage before at all (three indoors between March and June), so have no idea if it is a new bug or something that goes back to the beginning.

Could it be when placing it in the pocket? Try to only register the opposite hand. e.g. left hand if you got it in your right pocket, that would eliminate that as a possibility. Even though I pretty early on made a flip/case, I did not see the described before.
