It seems that, and I could be wrong, a recent email from Fxtec could help clarify. If your email says thanks for your order and shows a packaging photo, their system thinks you ordered one. If your email says you need to pay or the price will go up, their system thinks you preordered but didnt pay. If I didn't get any emails or got both or more than one of of one, I'd be wondering what's up...

Eske, can you get them to give you control to disable the moderation requirement? Maybe the spammers are gone by now, and this can get us thru til the new forum software.... and if not, you're on here often enough to catch the problem quickly and turn the moderation requirement back on. Of course you probably know how much work would be invovled to clean up another spam attack, so you can decide if thats worth your time risk compared to having to approve every single new post.

They could also be shipping mainland orders without the device ever leaving china, thus no customs even in mainland. I don't recall hearing how they're shipping asia orders at all, just eu/na.

FYI, Gmail has other view options than that. You probably forgot the first time you run it it gives you three choices. Anyways, In settings, change 'conversation list density to Compact (or even comfortable) and you'll get a lot more on your screen that that. Don't get me wrong, K-9 is great, I used it for years, but the gmail client isn't that bad in landscape if set compact.

When the phone is released or whenever it is you guys decide to switch to regular orders instead of pre-orders, how are they going to be sold? Still direct thru webssite? It wasn't done for me, I only paid USD649+$46 california tax + shipping, as advertised. Are you trying to say there is an additional charge on yours? Are you trying to imply they're not going to pay the state the tax the collect? I assumed you were having it shipped to UK/EU, which is why you were getting charged VAT, but you were trying to avoid it cuz you were leaving right away or something, . You realize people in europe are paying 649EURO which includes like 111EURO of VAT. People in Britain even worse at 649 GBP. The USD price is the best, especially if you live in a state

Unique issue. To resolve it, why not have it shipped direct to the US and pay the USD price+local tax that way? Or aren't you headed back for a while...
