Not in Europe yet, but still in transit to us with Fedex. Could be tomorrow, but could also take until Friday :). A little bit behind schedule, but really it's not major this time. At least it's not stuck like the 1st US batch. Edit: It is actually in Europe, UK arriving in the warehouse tomorrow.9 points

I'd say that is pretty specific :D Illinois. I'm not a backer of any sort. I placed my order on 04/08/19, made payment on 08/01/19. I am mostly happy to report that my cute, sad, little Nexus 5 from 2012 running KitKat 4.4.2 kept up the good fight and made it to today!8 points

Scheduled for arrival in our UK warehouse tomorrow, but the team in the warehouse will probably take an additional 12 or so hours to book the stock in and then ship it out. It's moving!7 points

It makes it more convenient to type the European dialect of english currently being implemented as the official language for the EU:7 points

Good question. I'll need to check that out next time I'm on a tall enough tree to see past the northern state boundary. There might be an ice wall up there, built generations ago, to keep the Wildlings out. 😉7 points

Stock assigned, and tracking number... might be delivered today if it clears customs.5 points

From what I've read, for AdAway to work nicely you just need to enable "systemless hosts" in Magisk Manager and not change the target hosts file.4 points

Since you have used the phrase about Eric being honest a couple of times, I'd just like to say that I don't think Eric has *ever* been dishonest. I think information he has given at one point in time has turned out to be not how things ended up, but I don't think that makes him a liar. I do think it's great that he is communicating more frequently. 🙂4 points

You'll be able to upgrade the Pro1 to 10 once that version is available. You will not need to buy a different device. Software support is one of the huge advantages of the Pro1. You'll be able to run a custom ROM such as LineageOS (who is already developing for Pro1) and the factory firmware is receiving updates as well.3 points

Assuming you are US, I am also assuming since mine cleared customs last night, yours will/did too. My Pro 1 is at my local facility and will be delivered this afternoon.3 points

Here in Denmark UPS got a better reputation than the traditional Post. After the Danish and Swedish post merged into PostNord, it has become a mess. We blame the Swedes, And as I understand it, it has become a mess in Sweden too, so they blame the Danes....3 points

I believe if you buy 10 phones, they *might* give you Android 10 early. That's just a rumor though. And there is no truth to the rumor. 😉2 points

I am very sad to hear that. 😞 I saw some photos what you took of your dog in the forum and thought he is gorgeous and he looked to be healthy. i also thought he is younger anyway. Ten years are not few but... It is a very sad news. 😞 Rest in peace.2 points

Additionally what @silversolver wrote, I am not expect a new model coming in 2020 - maybe in 2021, but I know absolutely nothing about it. Currently I feel it worth buying the current model, however, I still not received my phone yet. ...but first of all, they have to sell as many of this device as they can, then, if people like their device, they may think on design another phone(s) - that is why I think they may show something earliest in 2021 and it also means it does not worth waiting their next device (also not for them and also not for their users) - simply because they need th2 points

@cerialphreak I am going to be using mine with T-mobile so I will report back here as soon as I have something to report. I am really hoping that it's just a matter of popping in the SIM card and going and that I won't have to go to the T-Mobile store.2 points

I'm with Hook. I think if there was any sort of fee they wouldn't have it listed as no signature required.2 points

You are welcome. And yes, this does not have to be productivity apps. But if you found say a sudoku app that worked particularly well with a keyboard and/or in landscape over the tons of others, it would be a good candidate 😁2 points

Do you see water or land when you look north from the top of a tall tree? or perhaps you can see Russia from your house?2 points

I'm pretty sure there is *something* north of where I live (Minnesota). It doesn't seem logical that there would just be nothingness up there.2 points

Note there is no registration/etc required to vote, just a couple clicks and done. On a sidenote, I can personally confirm at least parts of Canada exist and are real.2 points

Similar situation for me - IGG backer, pre-order in the 116XX range, prompt payment in 2 minutes and still no stock assignment e-mail for my QWERTZ order. I hope I will be in batch 3 as it seems people have started to have stock assignment e-mails even without IGG coupon. I assume there were too few QWERTZ units manufactured to fulfill these orders but I hope what they wrote a higher amount of QWERTZ devices in batch 3 means that we will also receive our units in batch 3. So if I understood well, orders which have IGG coupon without stock assignment mails seem to be mostly QWERTZ o1 point

I think we have all been feeling this for a while. And I know its easy for me to say as I am feeling like there is a good chance of me getting a phone in January. But just remmeber that Erik is now responding with information more regular and is being honest. WE need to hold on for that last push and all being well and good there will be a great rteaction to the phone and more to follow,. I am not gonna lie the delivery and manufacturing and time frames have been disastrous to be honest but I believe the company is starting to learn more from this and are so gonna take it into their conti1 point

Because it hasn't been on a typewriter since 1367? ROFL! Actually thorn was substituted with Y for awhile, hence the signs such as "Ye olde Inn". It was never meant to be pronounced 'ye,' but rather was just a vaguely visually similar substitute spelling since thorn was falling out of common usage. It was pronounced 'the' just as today; of course, many people today do not know the medaeval spelling rules, and some who do read it incorrectly on purpose for comedic effect, like that skit where a child was reading from a Bible with long s (which looks a lot like f) and butchering it.1 point

Sort of German; this is at least 20 years old, as I remember seeing it in the 90s. The joke is that since German lost, the German advocates were going to make everyone spell English with a thick German accent. :)1 point

I have 11xxx, IGG coupon, paid 1st of August (in 1 or 2 days after the request), QWERTZ and EU. I believe that I must be in the same batch! 😃1 point

So i have been informed that I should be in the next shipment for the UK. I am looking forward to getting a Stock Assigned and realistically receiving my phone probably in the new year! But hay, its on its way! 🙂 Hope we are all having a good week so far! 😉1 point

You got it. They do have the option. But they won't do it unless the *shipper* asks for it. Which can be troublesome in these cases where stuff is being sent out en masse from some warehouse in /near China. They just ship it and trust that it will get there. And frankly that's how it *should* be. When I bring my car to a shop to replace the transmission I shouldn't have to explain to them how to install the transmission or what kind it needs. I bring it to the expert and they get it done. I've filed several complaints with UPS. I've called customer service, even talked to a manager.1 point
-
I'm surprised they don't link up with USPS. Both Fedex and UPS have that option-- it may be the shipper has to know to ask for that. With that option, the major courior takes it to the closest warehouse location they service and then hand it off to the USPS who treats it like Priority Mail.1 point
