One thing is "enabled", is it actually working if you select LTE as the only network type?

I was pretty surprised too. I have not experienced that in Denmark before. I guess the prices here are getting so competitive so they make a substantial portion of their profits on devices. Some years ago it was the other way round, they sold devices heavily discounted to wheel in people, as the profit clearly was with the expensive monthly plans and/or usage fees. Today I can buy a no-limit-talk and 500GB/Mo Data plan for $20.5/Mo at Oister.dk If 10hours and 10Gb is enough, it is $12.5/Mo

If I recall correctly it was only the very early orders that were offered those. I'm not aware if all these have been sent - nor where the 'cut' was, but if I remebmer right it was sometime July 2019. But it has been talked about also in this thread before, so some digging might provide the answer...

I have been in contact with Danish carrier CBB. And long story short , they could not care less if it was working or not on a device they are not selling. Lineage or Android. So had to tell them that I find a phone that suits me, and then a carrier that supports it - not the other way round..... Danish Carrier Oister also have a positive list they start from, but seems more interested in helping, so we will see how things go. (They were unaware that Samsung VoLTE icon did not show with their SIM, and are currently trying to fix that - and with a little luck, this will help the Pro1 as

I generally recommend 3C all-in-one toolbox they got both a Pro and an Ad version, They also got the 3C Battery Manager tool as stand alone. Here a couple of fresh dumps, currently zoomed to five days.

The launcher that comes with the device has the great idea of dividing the display in two halfs that are then placed on top of each other in portrait and side by side in landscape. This means that things are only marginally compressed&stretched when the screen is rotated. The price for this is that a widget can not cross the invisible line.. There are a truck load of other launchers out there, that have a different approach. One very popular is Nova. Some have individual layouts for portrait and landscape, giving you full flexibility - but double work setting things up as fo

PRO1, LineageOS 16.0 Official Builds: Discussion

Did you remember to wipe the data partition going from Stock to LineageOS? It should not take half an hour to boot. Could be the unlock thing also. I'm not sure.... ðĨ -
Rear/main camera focus to infinity not work on LineageOS
EskeRahn replied to fxtec-preorder-47xx's topic in Support
I got that on pocket cameras too. I have to choose shorter than "infinity" with manual focus taking photos of the moon... So not unusual on "Manual", but obviously the AF should not go that far. -
Are you missing a comment here? I moved some comments into a separate thread on delivery and customs issues, so they are easier to find. (I also tried to include the replies to the posts, if on other subjects)

Fx tec pouch and other pouchs (no belt clip)
EskeRahn replied to OKSun's topic in General Discussion
Me too... Despite not really a fan of flip-cases, I find that the best available solution. That is UNLESS you want to disable/reduce the edge-interaction. In which case two individual protective parts (like this) might be better. -
Just about any known bug in Stock is fixed in LOS...Against it only counts if you need it be certified to run some special picky software. Could be a banking app, or some company stuff, if you plan to use it with your job.
-
FinQwerty fixes that and other minor keyboard quirks for Stock. I can HIGHLY recommend it. it is NOT something running, just a loader presenting more layout files to the system. And thus works fine with SwiftKey too.

I do not know if it is supposed to stop earlier. I avoid fast charging unless really needed, and then it will not reach a full charge. You could ask support at what temperature it is supposed to throttle down charging. Perhaps someone else in here using fast charging has some temperature logging to share?
-
I would say that is bad. And in my book the device should have reduced (or completely stopped) pulling charge before it reached such an elevated temperature, I do not know what F(x)tec has as an acceptable temperature, but I would have stopped long before. .... But you have guessed the last part if you read my other comments in this thread.ð

You can easily find mats of various thickness on e.g. ebay. Search for "adhesive neoprene" (or rubber) and you will find it offered as mats or bands in various thickness.

In Scandinavia four different yet almost identical layouts are in play. I agree with @FlyingAntero that the layouts from FinQwerty would be a good aiming point. They are described graphically including colouring what is different from stock here: https://android.onse.fi/finqwerty/#pro1 The Finnish and Swedish for qwertZ are identical. The Norwegian is almost identical to the former, but Ã->à and Ã->à (Same sounds, different symbols for historical reasons ð ) The Danish is identical to the Norwegian except a swap Ã<->Ã. (Utterly silly... ðĪŠ ) Similar for the qwertY, ex

My Pro1 first impressions and issues
EskeRahn replied to akinwale's topic in Pro1 - Thoughts & questions
Hmm guessing here. The 152 could well be that the phone was almost finished before the Corona mess, and then only got the final parts later, e.g. the keyboard (assuming that stuff are charged and tested before being finalised, to catch bad parts as soon as possible in the assembly) On the 16GB try a factory reset - yes sounds silly, but after initial flashing it used to display way too low until a factory reset. Obviously you ought not to need doing that on a freshly delivered device though - so rather odd. And no haptic feedback on the camera-button to my knowledge- 13 replies

I tried to change my WiFi from "WPA/WPA2-PSK" to "WPA2-PSK" on my HuaWei B525s-23a. And both a Pro1 on Stock and LineageOS connects to it just fine. Could you give the model number of the netgear router, maybe that can help chasing down the bug. ð
-
(Well it "works" as such for qwertZ too, but have some quirks, as it is made for Stock Android)
-
Oh it sure would be better than a modified P20Pro case.
-
I would try fiddling with the router settings, and see if the Pro1 is more happy with something else, E.g. what channel it is using. I once had a problem with an internet radio, that did not connect, and it proved to be a character that I could select, but did not work in passwords with that device... (It was something ordinary like ! or $ forgot what it was). So many small quirks with WiFi.
