Does the the ebay requirement apply to selling within the EU? I would think you could easily sell it within the region.

I've never figured out what the magnifying glass key is on the Pro1. 😄 The F logo key on AICP (and I think Lineage, but don't remember clearly) doesn't do anything that I've discovered.

At least I haven't found it yet. And I'm assuming FxQwerty also would have problems with another OS's keyboard mapping, as FinQwerty does. While it's possible the screen gremlins might not kick up in fastboot, I'm not going to take the risk of trying to flash stock and getting everything set up again.

The problem is, in AICP the Fx logo key doesn't send you home. I tried using keymapper to assign it-- it recognizes the keypress, but I couldn't get it to work I'm not sure I understand keymapper so I'm sure I could have been doing something wrong. Guess I just have to be patient.

Can you explain. I don't see this listed in the app features or screen shots. Are you saying the touch screen can be turned off and just the physical keyboard can be used? EDIT: Nevermind. Downloaded and figured it out. 😉 Interesting. Will need to do some testing, but this may save me!

How (and why) would they do that? The Pro1 and Pro1X are the same phone. None of the OSs are going to require the additional memory.

I think the Tech Bundle is aimed at non-warranty repairs-- battery reaching EOL and breaking the screen, neither of which would be covered under warranty, not screen repairs for faulty QC or defect, which would be covered under warranty and they would supply the replacement screen.

It has started getting pretty bad, coming more and more often spontaneously and lasting longer when it does, I made another compressed video and sent it to them (although that probably backed up my place in the queue even though I used their acknowledgement email that said provide any further information above the line). Ghost touches launching apps and menus I didn't have the touch indicators turned on or it would have been even clearer, bt it lasted long enough that I could catch it. Android 10 seems to present some additional challenges with the external SD card. With Open Camera, I had to go to "more camera settings" as usual, but unlike with Android 9, I had to toggle on "Use Storage Access Framework." Then it allowed me to give permission for the "Save Location" to access a folder on my SD card and now Open Camera is saving to the SD card again. Google seems to be determined to make things as difficult as possible for using SD cards. Grrrr

Odd. It has storage permission on both phones. The only other thing I can think of is both phones are on versions of Android 10. Have you tested on Android 10?

I've never used it before, but the export and import bookmarks seems broken. When I go to "Export bookmarks to backup" I get "Error Sorry, bookmarks could not be exported!" with an OK button. I tried it on my Moto G8 as well, so it isn't just the Pro1 nor is not being on stock.

It installed fine for me sideloading, and I found the new keyboard settings, but they don't include anything about the keyboard backlight and I can't find any other setting for it. Needless to say, the backlight on the keyboard still isn't coming on by default.

@tdmI must be doing something wrong. It says it downloads, says install. I tap install, it does something quickly and then gives the prompt to reboot. I reboot and I can't find any new controls (no backlight) and information says I still have 02 NOV build and updater says install again. I've never done OTAs, so maybe I'm missing a step. Anyone else tried this?

Notice, not surprising, the play store version is one version behind the version I have, Just curious, what is/are the in-app purchase(s). Just a support option? It doesn't have ads, right?

Assuming you are using the default AOSP virtual keyboard, the vibrate on keypress toggle in in the preferences for that keyboard.

I raised that issue above and tdm said he would look into it.

Okay, I had used the zip for 20.4 add it seemed to fail, though I can't swear I didn't type something wrong. I just tried 21.0 and it worked just fine flashed from recovery! Yay! I'm rooted.

Never mind, figured it out. 😄
