  1. The typical installation method as described on XDA won't work yet on Pro1, because we don't have a fully working version of TWRP yet. But never fear, it's still easy, five simple steps and you will have the privileges you so rightfully deserve on your own device. 1. Install Magisk Manager App on Phone Download from: https://magiskmanager.com/downloading-magisk-manager or github. After download, install the apk, which will require you to allow the install from "unknown source". 2. Install Android Platform Tools on PC (adb & fastboot) Ubuntu (and presumably de

  5. I guess asking for spontaneous updates when delays happen does not help. Let's do this instead. Dear F(x)tec, please never inform us of delays when they occur. We greatly appreciate being left in the dark until someone starts a rumor about a potential delay and we don't get confirmation for days, after which it is all like the new ETA was what was announced all along.

  6. Yeah it is horrible, the outsourcing of work into captchas is becoming more and more aggressive. Mine was even worse:

  7. Thanks for all the kind words. He was healthy without the slightest troubles until a week after he became ten two months ago. It has been a horrible day, but he leaves a tonne of good memories. I grew up lietrally with dogs by the cradle, and have known many many dogs throughout my live. This one that I 'inherited' young was the best I ever met (and most he met said the same). I knew him from he was a tiny puppy, and the fun thing was that he always wanted to be my dog, over the owner that is my friend. So when his family situation led to him not being able to have a dog, it was natural to fin

  13. At least he did not have long pain and he had loving humans in his life. Every dogs are different and every animals have their own personality. We keep them living in our memories... I also had some dogs - especially I remember our German Shepherd from my childhood - she was found by someone and when she saw my grandmother, she didn't take her eyes off her... she wanted to come with her. She was really kind and I have played a lot with her as a child. She died in breast cancer at the age of about 12-13. I had another really good German Shepherd later together with a brown dachshund

  16. Scheduled for arrival in our UK warehouse tomorrow, but the team in the warehouse will probably take an additional 12 or so hours to book the stock in and then ship it out. It's moving!

  17. I'll start this by saying I've used PhotonQ for years, so familiar with keyboard sliders. I got the Pro 1 today. My biggest comments right now are about functionality. My biggest complaint is their "solution" for slash and question mark. No idea why they didn't include this as a key. Slash important for urls and paths. More important than a diagnol-yellow-arrow-custom-brand-new-modifier-key (2 of them actually) [that i dont even know what to call], or backslash, or back-apostrophe, or even brackets for that matter. Next gripe is no modifiers seem to be sticky. Unless t

  22. Just experimented. It is hard to ADD something new after the spoilertag, if it was the last in the old comment. Found a (nasty) cut&paste fix: Ctrl-A, Ctrl-X, write something new, and in front of that insert all the old with Ctrl-V. It worked for me.

  24. I recently found my old keymap files of the Droid 4. Those handle what characters are given out (i.e. o=o, alt+o = ΓΆ) and tell the keys how to behave. A lot of information is found at the link(s) EskeRahn provided, thanks for that! Here's the full keychar file, this is an alpha keyboard, so it should have a sticky behaviour for specific keys. However, I can't find proof in it. If somebody can provide me the keypad file(s) of the Pro 1, I could further look into it. https://source.android.com/devices/input/key-character-map-files (top section) helps you locate the file (in this case omap4

  28. I'm so sorry @EskeRahn, one of our Shepherds from when I was an early teen died of breast cancer. By the time we caught it, it had already spread throughout her upper body and she was having seizures. You will always hurt, but the great memories you shared with your dog will always outweigh the painful experience you are currently going through. I know this one has a special place in your heart, but he would want you to be as happy as you made him throughout his long and loving life. My family is going through a tough time with our youngest Shepherd, he is 11 right now and has difficulty w

  33. ...Or the app got a history from when real keyboards were common, or one of the developers happens to be a keyboard fan.... But in general you are right, unfortunately most apps today is clearly designed for portrait and touch only. The more serious developers also aiming for tablets offer some landscape support, but often not good on say 16:9 or here 18:9. Navigation handling arrow keys and tab beyond the rudiments in Android it self is not common - that was my whole idea of creating this thread, So that less popular software that might work fantastic on a Pro1, could be known to other P

  34. I suppose the alpha keyboard behavior is not further customizable, right? Sticky modifiers sound neat, but I don't like the idea of getting auto-capitalization. I may be overthinking it since it's been a while since my last keyboard phone, but I want a hardware keyboard to get as far away from auto-correct and friends as possible.

  36. Similar situation for me - IGG backer, pre-order in the 116XX range, prompt payment in 2 minutes and still no stock assignment e-mail for my QWERTZ order. I hope I will be in batch 3 as it seems people have started to have stock assignment e-mails even without IGG coupon. I assume there were too few QWERTZ units manufactured to fulfill these orders but I hope what they wrote a higher amount of QWERTZ devices in batch 3 means that we will also receive our units in batch 3. So if I understood well, orders which have IGG coupon without stock assignment mails seem to be mostly QWERTZ o
