  1. It seems that they have sent a refurbished device to you but they didn't reflash the firmware with factory tools. Your situation is like owning a stolen device so there is very little you can do. The whole point of FRP is to block the use of the device and data. I think that EDL flashing tool can help but I am not sure.
  2. Thanks, you right! I can't hear the sound when the keyboard is open so it is not related to the SIM. It must be the support arm. SIM tray only makes noise when I touch it.
  3. I was thinking that the sound during shaking comes from the flat cable that connects keyboard and screen parts. Maybe I am wrong and the sound comes from the SIM card instead?
  4. On my unit, the SIM tray does make some rattling when I touch it. It does not make any sound if I shake the phone. Signal strenght is pretty much the same that I had with Xperia XZ1 Compact. However, I have noticed that my magnetic flip case makes connection worse. If I don't use it I get better signal.
  5. Same thing for me also. Fingerprints still work after update. I have entered them only once before (2x thumb and 2x index finger at the same time).
  6. Yeah, the green tint issue is partially fixed. I mean it is still there but not on the lowest brightness. So, if you slide the brightness slider you start to see green tint between 50%-10% but below 10% green tint is gone. So no more green tint when I use Pro1 just before bedtime in dark room. Also, my eyes are not burned! 👍
  7. That is interesting 🤔. Has anyone else noticed connection to the system notification? What do you mean with "actualisation". Can you take screenshots? Do you think that freezing has something to do with the long press issue?
  8. There is also a possibility that something else triggers the issue as well. Or it is completely different thing that you have noticed. So far the only performance issue that I have faced is related to HDMI. I just need to reboot my phone every time I unplug it from HDMI. Then there are no issues.
  9. I don't think that the frame is the same since it looks so much different on Elephone U Pro. Pictures of Pro1: https://mobile.twitter.com/chenliangchen/status/1163524008471605249
  10. I am able to reproduce the performance issue everytime I connect the phone to TV via HDMI. The lagging starts after I unplug the HDMI cable, lock the phone and then unlock. To fix the issue you need to reboot the phone. (I was not able to fix it by plugging and unplugging HDMI cable several times). I can take logs when I have time.
  11. @elvissteinjr Interesting found! I did a clean flash some time ago and I have not plugged my device to HDMI after that. So today, I performed the FPS test again and faced no issues 💪. I will test later on if plugging to HDMI triggers the issue again. Edit: I can confirm, plugging the phone to HDMI triggers the issue. Performance was OK when device was plugged but after I removed the cable the issue was there. See from below.
  12. Yeah, I know that but in the end you bought a device with Google services. F(x)tec has done their best to give options to customers (unlockable bootloader). It is not perfect situation but better than nothing. First F(x)tec tried to ship phones with already unlocked bootloader but that led to issues with non-technical customers. So F(x)tec had to change that so that they can make business. There are other options available if you are looking for totally ungoogled device. Get your deGoogled smartphone now! F(x)tec allow you to flash unofficial OS without loosing warranty.
  13. You can disable that feature If you don't like it. It can be found from Settings>System>Gestures>"Jump to camera"
  14. I might be wrong but I think that if you setup Android phone without Google account and do not connect the phone to network then you are pretty much "safe" even if you press that agree button. Then you can enable OEM unlock and flash what ever you want. Or you can also go through pre-installed apps and uninstall/disable everything related to Google (if possible) before connecting to network.
  15. You can se NFC antanna in the picture below. It is the black line around the camera module. For me it works best when try to aim to the mic.
  16. I think that you should be able to skip Google privacy policy if you do not add Google account to the phone. At least it worked for me.
  17. In the past I used Power Button Flashlight (or similar) app to activate torch. You can also try Icon Torch for instant activation and combine it with Tasker, MacroDroid or some gesture etc.
  18. Landscape support is now in the stable release also (no more just beta). Microsoft Launcher v6 update enables landscape mode and new Feed design
  19. If it is something like this concept below, I might be interested. Otherwise I am looking for Pro2.
  20. Pro1 does not have search key so you are not able to use those shortcuts. I think that FinQwerty does not include it either. Would be nice to know how to remap it to stock. Chen was wondering to add search key but the community did not like the idea. See more from below.
  21. OnePlus Nord users have something in common with us 🤔. Nord Shutdown /Reboot issue The OnePlus Nord already appears to exhibit display tinting issues
  22. I have the icons there but I haven't changed any settings. They were there from the start. However, I do not use them because they seem to work oddly when the Landscape orientation lock is enabled from the stock settings.
  23. This method works! I just tested it 😎. Here is a video. I will write a tutorial later if you guys are interested. The delay for screen lock can be as long as you want but the system is only able to show max 30min in the UI. Needed apps: Tasker MacroDroid Keyboard/Button Mapper For some reason Keyboard/Button Mapper is not able to launch Tasker shortcuts so I had to make MacroDroid macro that triggers Tasker. Then I used Keyboard/Button Mapper to trigger MacroDroid. Chain reaction: Keyboard/Button Mapper -> MacroDroid -> Tasker
  24. That could also be done with MacroDroid and Keyboard/Button Mapper. Atleast there is a setting for it but I did not test it.
  25. That feature can be automatized with MacroDroid and Keyboard/Button Mapper. I just tested that it works. Also, you can have screen timeout quick tile on stock too. There are apps for that in Play Store like Caffeine.
