Mine doesn't do that at all. You might check the screws. If any sticker is not flush, it has been suggested that it indicates a screw that is not fully tightened. Don't know if this helps.

Sorry, yes, I have Qwerty. Check the keymap(s) for QWERTZ to see if he put it somewhere else. If not you can email him and ask him about implementing it. This is why we had either a signature or could do what Eske was able to do with having profile info sow up under the username-- It would be nice to see what configuration someone who asks or answers a question has.

Well, even if you don't want to read through the whole thread, appending a possibly redundant bug report to the existing thread which is stickied at the top is still preferable, I think, to creating many many new threads for each bug that each of the large number of new users might run into which will then just be buried by inactivity. I certainly agree the real answer is a bug tracker but that doesn't seem to be happening. Maybe after production is caught up.

This has already been reported, as well as the fact that at less than 50% brightnes there is a grey-green wash over things. Good to check particularly the stickied bug thread before creating new threads. 🙂

I've always hated encryption. Just another layer of nonsense. Always appreciated that Dirty Unicorns, which I used on both my Nexus 5 and Nexus 6p, shared my preference. 😉 Not saying this is something you should do, @tdm, just expressing personal philosophy. Looking forward to LOS in my future.

As far as I can tell from when mine was shipped, Lantau Island is the main air freight terminal and it is not uncommon for the phone to spend a couple of days there. In fact, if it doesn't get loaded and moving today, you will likely not see any change until Monday. On the other hand, once it does leave, it should move pretty fast.

I never received an email from FedEx for my Pro 1. I got the tracking number from F(x) Tec and was able to then track it on the FedEx site, so this is not anything new.

I use Firefox on my Pro1 and have also not seen this. Also not tending to use it that long. However, I am trying out Brave as I have found one peculiarity with Firefox that I do not experience with Brave. This didn't used to happen, but recently I have had trouble logging in to the F(x) Tec forum and one other forum, What happens is that when I go to log in, the "accept cookies" dialog pops up. I had AT&T Prepaid for a month while I was working out Verizon. The apn was AT&T Nextgenphone. However, the account has been cancelled so I don't have the preferred networks setting for it, I do know I didn't have to pick that setting. It used the default.

My idea for this feature is simply that the fingerprint sensor should be optionally set to not care how many attempts are made. If it gets a good finger print read, it works. Doesn't care how many off position touches or wrong finger touches it gets. It's like setting password attempts to unlimited. I don't care as I too have disabled the fingerprint sensor, but seems like a good option for folks to have.

I know that @Craig had to input an APN for his AT&T MNVO. You might check their web site or ask customer service what apn you should use in your area.

That looks exactly like mine. also USB 2, but don't care for the same reason @Craig doesn't care. Large file transfers are pretty rare for me, so even the 2,0 speeds are fine with me.

I find no difference in speed finger scrolling (measured speed to see what is scrolling) and finger flicking (speeding up and down the list versus grabbing the side scroller in landscape, where I can.

I have absolutely no problem with the all apps screen in app info in settings. Does not require edge scrolling for me.

In Nova, the apps list scrolls from anywhere, I haven't run into any problems with the apps I use, but I imagine for an app that required and edge scroll-bar rather than scroll screen from anywhere it could be a problem.

Edge Null, works pretty well for me. You do have to remember to take it off battery optimization or Android 9 will keep closing it after a while. @Erik From the math, it sounds like Feb 27th is a typo and you meant Jan 27th. Can you clarify?

Glad to hear his positive tone, but it was really too bad the software wasn't working as smoothly as the production units do. Not just the bad screen orientation behavior, but the screen keyboard popping up in landscape ( that has never happened to me). Someone seeing only this video might get scared away.
