There’s a lot of shipments to do. If we leave them all at once, FedEx won’t be able to pick them up.

We've figured out Fedex doesn't send those emails to everyone, but your can definitely find the tracking on your Fxtec profile.

Tracking number from Fedex with arrival date of 4th February. Seems they're using camels for delivery.

Don't put phone numbers and emails on forums! get scraped off and you'll get lots of spam. Just send details in a PM with someone interested.

Got the order completed email today, checked the website and found the FedEx tracking number. Looks like a one-week time to delivery from HK to west coast US.

I am not sure which message you are referring to. But on Twitter F(x)tec answered to people, that asked about the availability of the phone, that they can order, but that it needs 4-6 weeks until it arrives because they will fulfill their preorders first. Also the latest reported payment date of somebody who recieved their stock assigned message (if you don't count in the IGG coupon orders) was around 20th of August from 1(!) person in the Netherlands if I remember correctly. So as most of us probably paid right after recieving their payment mail in the time from 31st of July to 1st of Au

Just some more info - I have received a standard attachment from FedEx which I should send back. In one of the papers, I have an option to choose "DDP" (Delivered Duty Paid) and @Erik agreed I should choose it as I am in the EU. I have not seen it mentioned elsewhere so I put it here, maybe it also helps for others.

You can do the page thing 'sort of' by making your own category, and drag things into that. However items are placed list style in the worst possible way for one handed right handed usage, as they are displayed book-style, starting top left, where they are hardest to reach. It would be nice if they offered a setting to allow the lines of icons to 'sink' to the bottom, so any empty lines would be at the top.

I wrote about that person who has received an assignment mail in the same country and has order number of 49XX and also a QWERTZ order. Yesterday afternoon, I have asked him and he has not received tracking number yet anyway, but it may have changed since that. I also know he has also moved from original QWERTY to QWERTZ the same as me with IGG coupon, because the time we made pre-order, QWERTZ option was still not available - that option came later. I got the tracking number from FedEx. Delivery should arrive 28.01.2020. Only one more week. This is great!

I finally replaced the screen - and took some photos (using my daughter's S8) while at it. Will post them as well as some comments today or tomorrow, so stay tuned. One thing ahead: the Elephone U screen fits perfectly.

Hi I received an email from FedEx saying they are going to deliver the F(x)tec Pro to the Netherlands. Hurray. The nasty surprise was that they will charge VAT. I know that F(x)tec will pay the VAT but if everyone in Europe has to pay VAT it will be lot of work for us buyers (and but also for F(x)tec) to get the VAT amount returned.

That phone is missing most of the useful keys from the keyboard! Most of my interaction with the Pro1 keyboard is using the keys "around the edges" so to speak. All the meta keys like tab, escape, control, alt, etc. A keyboard isn't a useful keyboard if it's not a full keyboard.

My order status just changed to "completed". I also had a call from a local fedex customs agency. They're about to deliver on January 27th.

Oh my, I just received the same type of e-mail from FedEx, pickup YUEN LONG HK same sender, the details are Expansys (Hong Kong) Limited 6th Floor, Edwick Industrial Centr 230 Kwai Chung, HK delivery planned for the 27th. And I was wondering what is it. Is it a coincidence and are we part of the same scam, or... well... or it is f(x)tec. But I didn't received an assignment email before. (I dug into the spam box). USB-C != HDMI over USB It is alternative mode for usb, so not all phones have it.

Hello, every. I am new to this forum and it is nice to chat with all of you. I greet you all from the USA and I'm happy to post this.....CAN'T WAIT to finally get my tracking number. Also, I had to type it like this so it wouldn't look messed up on the desktop layout view.

I miss regular sliders, this phone will be my first titled screen slider. I'm just excited to use a keyboard again!

Looks nice 🙂 Though I personally prefer the tilted type like he Pro1, and these renders are very optimistic on how far they let it slide, I would fear for how fragile that would be. And at first look it would be harder than the Pro1 to open without screen interaction, as you can not lift, and there is nowhere left to push. But one could go for motors of course.

I’m sure most of you had seen this concept rendering. Although it is not an actual physical keyboard it is a good looking phone. If it ever did get released I would probably pick one up just for keepsake. And incase my pro1 ever dies I don’t know about you guys but I sure miss home buttons. Not a fan of finger print scanners and all touch screen phones. Don’t care about screen bevels and camera/mic/flash notches. Still holding out for a sidekick/ or original style Motorola Droid but obviously with modern os. Is it just me or are they over doing it with phones now?

I use Firefox as the primary browser, but extremely seldom used it uniterrupted for half an hour. But never seen the behaviour you describe, as far as I can remember. Is it a recent thing? It was just updated 16h ago on mine, to 68.4.2 . So could be a fixed bug (Or a recently introduced one)? So not much help from here, sorry.

F(x)tec assigning stock across pre-orders as fair as possible (2020, colorized) (I'm pretty happy with what I got, but we can still poke some fun, right?) Edit: I did not intend to have the post here, rather than the meme thread, but it happened and is here now. Don't take this too seriously.

First testprint made last night. I've split the bottom up in 2 parts to figure out how well the fit is. there is some slight (2mm) missalignment of the buttons and usb-c header and the camera placement is slightly off. I can now properly add the chamfer which is about 1.5mm (eyeballed, stil got to measure that tonight) and correct these errors. I expect the next version to be a perfect tight fit. from thereon I can start designing the mold and order some silicone to give it a try. @EskeRahn I will try to add a slight "edge" to the top of the cover to latch on the phone
